My name is Emily and I sell AVON. That's about all you need to know, right?

Well, if you absolutely have to know more, here's me, short and sweet: I live in Virginia Beach with my husband our three cats, two kittens, one dog and one puppy. (Yes, I am a little bit crazy - why do you ask?) I work a "regular" 9-to-5 job as a graphic designer, and in my spare time I read and write. My writing is a mix of fiction and personal essays, usually with spiritual or philosophical themes. Two of my favorite books include Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert and Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster, which are both excellently funny and moving in their own way. I also love music, movies and TV (but who doesn't?). I can't get enough of Sex and the City or Will & Grace, and songwriter Tori Amos is one of my greatest inspirations.

My goal as an AVON representative is to connect with my customers as a friend. Impersonal and unhelpful "customer service" is one of my pet peeves. (Along with rude drivers, but there's only so much I can do to improve the great American highway!)
